Mahiro Maeda (前田 真宏)is a Japanese director, animator, storyboarder and illustrator, born on 14 March 1963 in Yonago, Tottori Prefecture.
He was not directly involved with the original Evangelion anime, besides designing two Angels, Gaghiel and Israfel, but became heavily involved with the latter Rebuild of Evangelion films.[1]
