Die Sterne (German for "The Stars") is a Gainax softcover artbook published by Kadokawa Shoten. It contains over a hundred pages of full-color illustrations by original character designer Yoshiyuki Sadamoto. There is a second edition, Die Sterne Ver.2.0, that was released in 2007, with all the art from the original plus an additional 75 new illustrations.
