I think that a brief article like this one is acceptable. Then link to the appropriate section of a longer "Meta-biology" article for the excruciating details. ::The trick is probably to think of what is directly relevant to a specific term. There will be some overlap here and there, but, if we are very clever, more unique material will be on each page than not.
