There's one oddity that I bolded it in the text, and now I've reworded it for the time being. Does Rei actually cut Sahaquiel's AT field with the progressive knife, or does she cut a transparent membrane in front of the core? I thought Sahaquiel's field had been overwhelmed and the Evas actually pushed the angel upwards at that moment. A prog knife might penetrate an AT field, but how could it make a lasting cut in it?
