Russian Federation, also known as Russia, is one of the principal World powers in the post-Second Impact world. It is home to one of the members of the Human Instrumentality Committee, along with one of the Magi systems.

In Rebuild of Evangelion, they hold joint ownership with European Union over Bethany Base and Evangelion Unit-05.

The NGE Nerv White Paper RPG has an original character who hails from the Russian branch of Nerv.
