The four Adams at Second Impact

Each one is slightly different, but all possess halos and wings. Fifteen years after Second Impact, the four crosses they generated are still present in the crater at the South Pole.

Third Eye

One of the Adams has a third eye. This motif reappears with two other beings: Eva-01 as a giant of light at Near Third Impact, and Eva-08. While some kind of link between the three seems implied, there is no way at present to know what that might entail.

Name

The term "Adams" has only so far appeared in the preview for Eva 2.0 at the end of the first movie. The Evangelion 2.0 script refers to them only as giants of light (光の巨人, hikari no kyojin).
