Tetsuya Watanabe (渡邊 哲哉) Evangelion TV dizisinin bölüm yönetmeniydi (11. bölüm) ve End of Evangelion'de sinematografi için kredilendirildi. Watanabe; Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo, Saber Marionette J, The Big O, Mai Otome, Rumbling Hearts, Cowboy Bebop ve çeşitli Gundam şovları gibi çeşitli diğer anime çalışmaları için yönetmen, yapımcı ve hikaye tahtası sanatçısı olarak çalıştı.
