I was scribbling out an outline for an expanded article, so your explanation would have been essentially "floating" (and some of the things you mentioned aren't relevant to MPB -- least, my brain didn't think so at the time...). - Yeah, that why I put "blah blah blah; can reinstate any of V's wording that fits in wherever, this junk is only temporary".
