This site is intended to be the new incarnation of the [http://www.evacommentary.org/ Evangelion Commentary Project website]. While officially announced to the public, the full transfer is far from complete and the new website is still working out some very basic kinks. Please have patience. At least unlike FGC.org, it isn't being completely neglected.

Ever since the initial four episodes were tackled years ago and the project subsequently went into limbo, there have been many queries and concerns about the future of the commentary. As long as the Fan-Geeks Project is still in motion, there is still every intention of reviving FGC (Fan-Geeks Commentary), although the substantial effort and coordination involved and required leaves a date uncertain.

Probably the best way to do this is to get an account at the forum (which is a requisite anyway to be an editor) and post in an appropriate thread [http://evageeks.org/forum/viewforum.php?f=24|here]. Even after the Earth, the Moon, and even the Sun have disappeared, Evangelion fandom will remain...

Welcome to the Neon Genesis Evangelion Fan-Geeks Project

This site is intended to be the new incarnation of the Evangelion Commentary Project website. While officially announced to the public, the full transfer is far from complete and the new website is still (still...) working out some very basic kinks. Please have patience. At least unlike FGC.org, it isn't being completely neglected.

Commentary

Ever since the initial four episodes were tackled years ago and the project subsequently went into limbo, there have been many queries and concerns about the future of the commentary. As long as the Fan-Geeks Project is still in motion, there is still every intention of reviving FGC (Fan-Geeks Commentary), although the substantial effort and coordination involved leaves a date uncertain.

Other Stuff

Devoted to various other subsets of local content (most of which isn't here yet, so you'll probably see a LOT of red links). Names are provisional. So is everything else, for that matter. This is currently a little messy ("a little messy...?"), but under construction, as always...

To be an extensive collection of articles on everything you can shake a can of Yebichu at. Please excuse the mess.
Not quite "encyclopedic", these are devoted entirely to ... well, guess. The section still needs to find its feet.
Compilations of various information, oftentimes informal and overly pedantic. Proceed with CAUNTION.
Translations of "official materials", statements from NGE staff, stuff of that ilk. This will also provide a collection of links (currently quite unorganized) to resources hosted elsewhere.
Everything else.
For discussion of (almost) everything Evangelion, and will eventually serve as an open venue for local projects in addition. This is effectively the entirety of EvaMonkey.com's forum reestablished as the forum for EvaGeeks.org.

Volunteers are free to recommend themselves. Probably the best way to do this is to get an account at the forum (which is a requisite anyway to be an editor) and post in an appropriate thread [1]. This way, you won't have to deal with Reichu's typical flakiness, and there is a good chance that one of sysops will notice you.

Here are Some Pages You Should Know About (some needing work badly):

About This Site | Standards & Conventions | Rules & Regulations | Volunteer Opportunities | Boot Camp for Newcomers

Also, some external links that will help Scribe-Minions on their arduous journeys. These really shouldn't be on the main page, but things being the mess they are...
