Talk:Metaphysical Biology
er, I want to incorporate the explanation I originally wrote back into this. --V 11:44, 17 August 2007 (EDT)
- Yeah, that why I put "blah blah blah; can reinstate any of V's wording that fits in wherever, this junk is only temporary". I was scribbling out an outline for an expanded article, so your explanation would have been essentially "floating" (and some of the things you mentioned aren't relevant to MPB -- least, my brain didn't think so at the time...). Anyone is free to expand upon that outline, provided it makes any sense whatsoever. --Reichu 12:16, 17 August 2007 (EDT)
MPB in Relation to Everything
Okay, I'll establish this as the discussion hub for this subject. How many MPB subjects are there and how many need their own articles? I can think of, off the bat:
- Soul
- Vessel (LCL & PWM)
- Soul/Vessel Relationship
- A.T. Field
- Soul Manipulation (Salvaging)
Which of these need separate articles and what should be discussed on the main MPB page? An idea I had was to set up a list of links on MPB page that link to the other important articles and leave the rest of the MPB for whatever doesn't need its own page. This will also make linking it to the main Evapedia page easier. We need to find a way of saying everything that needs to be said with as few repeats as possible. Thoughts? Suggestions? I'll be away the rest of today so come up with something good while I'm gone! --Eva Yojimbo 16:13, 18 August 2007 (EDT)
- Soul = Yes
- LCL = Yes
- PWM = Yes (We need a place to throw gratuitous theorization on exactly WTF the stuff is)
- Soul/Vessel Relationship = subject to be treated locally, methinks
- A.T.F. = Very yes
- Salvage/ing = Yes (Which of the two should the article be called? Treat it like a noun, "salvaging"?)
- MPB will sort of wrap everything together, but the various constituent ideas need to be established on their own. Plus there is information in each of the articles that would not be directly pertinent to the "Central MPB Hub".
- I have a feeling the crap establishing what we consider MPB to be will end up being split off to an explanatory note page to avoid clutter. --Reichu 16:29, 18 August 2007 (EDT)
- I'll try to play around with it a bit and see what I end up with. Perhaps keep the MPB article as it is, largely left alone and then link to the specific ideas from there. I think handling the soul/vessel relationship might be best from MPB main page, because - in a sense - the soul/vessel relationship is the big picture. --Eva Yojimbo 06:59, 19 August 2007 (EDT)
