	001	Clouds breaking. They drop shadows and crawl over the mountainside. (PAN LEFT.) Fade into next cut. REI'S VOICE:“Mountain... Heavy mountains. Things that change over time.”	Zusuchan: And here starts one of my favorite scenes in Eva. Mr. Tines: The sequence to cut 008A recapitulates Shinji's journey in episode 4 (cuts 068 to 084) but in reverse order.
	002	Streaming sky. Fade into next cut. REI'S VOICE:“Sky... Blue sky.”
	003	The ground. Shadows of clouds falling onto a field. Fade into next cut. REI'S VOICE:“What your eyes can't see.”
	004	Rural scenery. REI'S VOICE:“What your eyes can see.”
	005	The sun in the blue sky. REI'S VOICE:“Sun... A unique object.”
	006	A lake beyond the woods. T·B. Fade into next cut. REI'S VOICE:“Water... Something comforting. Commander Ikari?”
	007	A field full of sunflowers. T·U. REI'S VOICE:“Flowers... So many of the same. And so many unneeded.”	dzzthink: These flowers seem to represent Rei's view of herself and her clones, in the way she mentions they are abundant and unnecessary. The association of water with commander Ikari seems to suggest she is dependent on Gendo for survival. The poem is definitely filled with Rei's perspectives on many things, I think the Evageeks wiki has a page on this (Editor's Note: Yes, although it could be improved) but I feel there is still a lot of mysteries. Zusuchan: I'm pretty sure this is a monologue, not a poem.

	008B	Eva in the Cage. (PAN UP.) REI'S VOICE:“The color red. I hate the color red.”
	009	Beaker UP. REI'S VOICE:“Water flowing.”
	010	Blood on Shinji's palm. REI'S VOICE:“Blood...”
	011	A red universe. T·B. REI'S VOICE:“The smell of blood. A woman who never bleeds. Man made from red soil. Man made from man and woman.”
	012	Tokyo-3 panoramic view, night. (PAN LEFT) REI'S VOICE:“City... A human creation.”
	013	EVA-01 UP. T·B. REI'S VOICE:“Eva... A human creation.”
	014	"Dark moon" in the water. REI'S VOICE:“What is a human? A creation of God? Is man a human creation? The things I possess are life and soul. I am a vessel for a soul. Entry plug, the throne for a soul.”
	015	Rei's eye UP. T·U. REI'S VOICE:“Who is this? This is me.”
	016	A continuous row of Rei figures. (PAN.) REI'S VOICE:“Who am I? What am I? What am I? What am I? What am I?”	Dr. Nick: Even though Rei has the soul of a progenitor superbeing, it's no wonder why she's so confused about what she actually is. She's gone through soul-splitting once, and furthermore, the mechanism by which her soul is transferred from one clone body to the next is implied to be pretty gruesome corpse-grinding affair as well, so there is a lot trauma and existential horror to go around.
	017	Silhouette of Rei in the evening sky (slowly falls downward). Silhouette F·O. Rei's eye UP fades in. T·U. Blinks with surprise once. REI'S VOICE:“I am myself. This object is me. The form that shapes me. This is the me that can be seen, yet I feel as though I am not myself. Very strange. I feel as if my body is melting. I can no longer see myself. My shape is fading. I feel the presence of someone who is not me. Is someone there, beyond this?”
	018	Shinji. Fade to black. REI'S VOICE:“Ikari?”
	019	Misato UP . Fade to black. REI'S VOICE:“I know this person. Major Katsuragi.”
	020	Ritsuko UP. Fade to black. REI'S VOICE:“Doctor Akagi.”

	025	Ikari's glasses on top of the chest UP. Fade to black. REI'S VOICE:“Commander Ikari?”	dzzthink: The fact that Gendo is last in this lineup of people and that he is represented by a pair of glasses, seems to suggest unfamiliarity, despite their history.
	026	Rei UP. Fade to black. REI'S VOICE:“Who are you?”
	027	Eva's naked face. Fade to black.
	028	Eva's eye UP. REI'S VOICE:“Who are you?”	Dr. Nick: Further reason for Rei's confusion: she has Lilith's soul, and Unit-01 is the one special Lilith-derived Evangelion (Unit-00 presumably being made of the standard Adam putty), so during this test her soul is once again inside her original flesh.
	029	Shinji's eye UP. Fade to black. REI'S VOICE:“Who are you?”
