The anonymous 4chan translations understandably have quality control issues and are a little confusing. I think we badly need to get a better version of these interviews from Riki, Pluto or Nuke-kun, or at least have them go over these and clean them up somewhat. --UrsusArctos (talk) 06:05, 9 June 2021 (UTC) | The anonymous 4chan translations understandably have quality control issues and are a little confusing. :I've also marked the "25 years as Asuka" interview because there are passages that are simply confusing or seem out of context, similar to the anonymous translations. It has weird non-sequiturs like "However, until then I had almost no experience on the stage. So, the vocalization is for the stage." or odd phrases like “ This is what it is. It was a scale from my eyes. " A preliminary literal translation is one thing, but we do need to have a sensible translation for the wiki! --UrsusArctos (talk) 06:20, 9 June 2021 (UTC) | :I've also marked the "25 years as Asuka" interview because there are passages that are simply confusing or seem out of context, similar to the anonymous translations. The anonymous 4chan translations understandably have quality control issues and are a little confusing. I think we badly need to get a better version of these interviews from Riki, Pluto or Nuke-kun, or at least have them go over these and clean them up somewhat. --UrsusArctos (talk) 06:05, 9 June 2021 (UTC)
- I've also marked the "25 years as Asuka" interview because there are passages that are simply confusing or seem out of context, similar to the anonymous translations. --UrsusArctos (talk) 06:20, 9 June 2021 (UTC)
- That's because they're a native Japanese speaker so sometimes they can use slightly weird terms in English. It's not literal. I can talk to them and go over it again. As for the 4chan ones, yeah, but they'll do for now. FelipeFritschF (talk)
