Regeneration

It states in the CI that the S² is the source of the Angels' regenerative abilities, so why is that not true for the MPEs? Just as many Angels slowly regenerate after being stopped by other means, they are able to regenerate (Israfel springs to mind).--Eva Yojimbo 10:19, 18 August 2007 (EDT)

According to Maya they "reactivated". And I think it's made pretty darn clear that Asuka did enough to reasonably "kill" any of them. If they are not regenerating in the least bit then I see no logical reason for their continuing to function. 'Tis okay either way. I don't feel it's a major plot point.
