:No, you have it backward; the Director's Cuts are the default because they replaced the originals as canon.  The article has it right.  The prime symbol can mess up the Wiki code; it thinks you're trying to bold or italicize something.  --[[The wayneiac|thewayneiac]]  Aug. 24, 2007  19:11 EDT.

Damnit, somebody beat me to it with writing this episode. ^^; And wasn't it decided that the DC episodes would be included as information in the On-Air notes, not the other way around? Either way, Nitpick/ the little prime symbol is needed for the DC Episodes... /Nitpick --Sailor Star Dust 14:58, 24 August 2007 (EDT)

No, you have it backward; the Director's Cuts are the default because they replaced the originals as canon. The article has it right. The prime symbol can mess up the Wiki code; it thinks you're trying to bold or italicize something. --thewayneiac Aug. 24, 2007 19:11 EDT.
I thought that was the case (DC being default due to Canon), so thanks for clarifying! --Sailor Star Dust 21:52, 26 August 2007 (EDT)

Spear of Longinus and Eva vocalization

What I just added to Analysis is bound to be controversial, but has anyone got any better ideas(or better, solid information) about that deep moan heard when the Spear is flung, or how Rei aimed it at Arael in the first place? --UrsusArctos 11:19, 31 August 2007 (EDT)

The Spear is capable of self-propulsion. (See the CI.) I think once Zero throws it at Arael, the Spear takes care of the rest completely on its own.
I'm pret-ty sure the Spear is supposed to be making the sound, since the noise follows it after it breaches the clouds... (Also, it sounds like a typical Eva bellow, not the erotic moan Yui-sama lets out before having core-sex with the thing.) --Reichu 12:26, 31 August 2007 (EDT)

Asuka drunk?

The reference to Asuka being apparently(?) drunk in the Kaji/OTR flashback has me puzzled; I've watched the scene numerous time, and that has never once occured to me... Besides, I don't think Kaji would let her drink alcohol. --Shin-seiki 12:29, 31 August 2007 (EDT)

Yeah. Somebody axe this. (It's dubious enough that you could have done so yourself, Scotty-boy. ;;> ) --Reichu 15:11, 31 August 2007 (EDT)
Well this is what she's drinking, I don't know what it is:
Asuka's Drink
--Ornette 15:44, 31 August 2007 (EDT)
Glad somebody cleared this issue up since it caused me to wonder if it was more than a one time only thing in the series (e.g.: If she drank alcohol after deciding to pilot (she was sitting by the alcohol section of the store afterall) in episode 09 or other times) --Sailor Star Dust 13:06, 1 September 2007 (EDT)

Translation of Asuka phone call and German subliminal messages

Hi, I can translate (I speak german, so it won't be a dodgy Google Translate job) the german stuff in this episode. What section should it go in? --Nomis1242 23:40, 13 November 2010 (UTC)

There's a couple of different translations s well as the excerpt from the Platinum commentaries here, but I guess it can go under "Notes"?

Thanks! Even though there are mixed opinions about the translation, I think it'd be good to have something on the wiki. A link to the thread perhaps?

FYI I've also started a thread for the German subliminal messages, hopefully there will be some useful outcome we can add to the wiki.--Nomis1242 14:09, 27 December 2010 (UTC)

Mindrape

If we need it anywhere, Bochan_bird translated all the telops during the mindrape scene at http://eva.onegeek.org/pipermail/oldeva/2000-August/037236.html --Gwern 03:29, 1 September 2011 (UTC)
