Nerv Headquarters, inside of the GeoFront

Nerv Headquarters (aka Nerv HQ) is Nerv's massive, sprawling primary base of operations built in the subterranean GeoFront cavern under Tokyo-3. It is the command center for all of Nerv's operations across the globe. The entire city of Tokyo-3 was essentially built as a fortress to support Nerv HQ and the needs of the thousands of personnel that work there. The Evangelions were researched and developed here, and many of them were also built at Tokyo-3. Nerv HQ is where all active Evangelions and their pilots are based, and it is from Nerv HQ that they are sortied. The focal point of Nerv HQ is the massive Command Center room, located in Central Dogma. The Magi supercomputers, which control the entire base as well as the entire city of Tokyo-3, are also located in Central Dogma. The deepest level of Nerv HQ, the secret and heavily restricted Terminal Dogma, is located 2008 feet below Central Dogma.

• Nerv HQ has a somewhat Freudian design, with its use of both a pyramid (basic phallus shape; male) as well as an inverted pyramid shape trench (female).
