It's so important, in fact, that we return to it in the penultimate scene of EoE, just before One More Final. The two central pieces of information it reveals are: 1) Yui has her own conspiracy running inside Seele's bigger conspiracy, and she's recruited Fuyutsuki into it, and 2), Gendo is not aware of this. At this point in time, he's still Seele's loyal toady.
