An Angel has been detected in orbit above the Indian Ocean.”	Mr. Tines: This particular notion of Purgation seems to be hinting at the Impact making some kind of reset to zero; but the broader use of such wonky theology is not confined to Evangelion (e.g. Symphogear AXZ) UrsusArctos: Episode 21 makes the reset to zero clearer in more scientific terms with effects like the elimination of all life down to the microbial level, and a change in atmosphere confined to Antarctica alone. Speaking of Antarctica, it seems like Sahaquiel matured somewhere in the vicinity. They've detected it over the Indian Ocean, and a more or less straight path to Tokyo-3 would place its point of origin somewhere near Antarctica (there's no way an embryo for an Angel that size could remain in orbit so long undetected).
