Once again, this cut was very important to the writers. Kendrix: She even apolpgizes, perhaps fearing that she might have done something wrong that made Shinji cry. thewayneiac: Actually, I think she's apologizing for not knowing how to react to his tears. InstrumentalityOne: And this is the cut when Rei went from mysterious(creepy?) to unintentionally cute/moe.
