	173	Top-down close-up of Shinji; His words sound anxious. SHINJI:“I’ve never practiced anything like that before.”	Kendrix: Shinji is still referencing his training or lack thereof. This is the battle where Shinji will cast off the thoroughly nervous/deathly afraid/mostly clueless behavious that has dominated his previous battles, where he is the "inexperienced, misplaced boy" while he never gets entirely used to piloting EVA, but he's able to form coherent thoughts in the entryplug after this one. (Rebuild handled the transistion from "Prologue Arc Shinji" to "Action Arc Shinji" a lot better, tough. In the anime, it's spread all over eps 6 and 7, in rebuild, there is a definite Moment - the Angel of Doom scene). Here, in this precise Moment, we're still dealing with Prologue Arc Shinji who has no clue what he is doing in Tokyo 3, and therefore clings to his training for guidance. Okay, Shinji never really stops clinging to others for guidance, but he improves GREATLY after this battle - He demonstrates much more of a will of his own in the subsequent episodes/his interactions with Misato and Asuka.
