UrsusArctos: Since neither the balloon nor the boat are to be seen, I wonder what happened to the poor sods given the job of towing the balloon straight into death ray range? Even if they died, they got a very pretty landscape as a backdrop for their heroic sacrifice. Jokes aside, this is one of the prettier images of the Lake Ashi area we see in the series.
