SE <<Click>>	FreakyFilmFan4ever: Continuing the thought of Gendo's glasses being symbolic of his barrier between him and the rest of the world, I find it interesting the Rei keeps the glasses safe in her room. This is another bit of symbolism that suggests Rei's reasons for being so open to Gendo herself. She still thinks that she is the only one that can pass through Gendo's barrier at this point, and is therefore willing to obey Gendo's every command.
