Entry Plug

An Entry Plug is a long, cylindrical object with rounded ends that contains the cockpit for an Evangelion Unit. Entry Plugs are inserted into the back of an Evangelion via a loading mechanism, after which it spins inwards until the section of the Entry Plug that the pilot's cockpit is in is located in the center of the Eva's torso. Standard Entry Plugs are white. However, those used in the remote-control Dummy Plug system are red.
