One Angel or Two?

Article writes: "however Israfel is always treated as a single Angel when an "Angel List" is given, and must be counted as a single Angel to make the Angel count come out as stated. This makes it more likely that Israfel is capable of dividing a single soul between its two cores."

The bolded bit seems unnecessary bias. Reason being, the entire Lilin species is listed as a single Angel, and that's billions of different souls functioning as a "colony". --Reichu 17:49, 11 May 2009 (PDT)

I think the question of whether Israfel has one soul or two is worth mentioning, but it would probably work best as a segueway into another T&A article. It's not a major issue, or one about which any conclusions can be drawn, but we managed to have that one interesting thread about it. Two Cores or One?

So far, we've never seen anything like two cores fusing or separating. No matter what crazy things Eva-01 does in EoE, there's nothing to show that cores fuse and separate like that. Instead of considering Israfel as a special case, why not show the one shot of Israfel with a single core (That too, with a very suspicious bar running across it) either as an animation error or Israfel hiding one of the cores? Genga are just key frame animation drawings. I tend to use it because it's helluva shorter. I'm not sure what you're thinking of.
