Fan parodies are a form of fanfiction using parody by anime fans by means of fandubs and fansubs.
Arguably the best known of fan parodies related to Evangelion is Evangelion: ReDeath, a work that originally premiered at the 2000 Fanime Con in Santa Clara, California by Studio Sokodei.
There are others that are not as well known among fans of Evangelion, such as those depicted on the now defunct Food Court and Thumbnail Theater, both of which were curiously and abruptly shut down in 2005.
