Shinji's reaction to flirting couple

I'm not good at telling non-verbal animated emotions; Shinji focuses on the flirting couple at the theater. Is it because, as is typical of young boys his age, he kind of wants to have a girlfriend, or is it because their interaction is such an alien concept to him that he's just intrigued by it? This is, a 5 year old would look at flirting couple and go "wow, that's an alien concept to me". Single teenager would go "crud, wish I had a girlfriend now". But Shinji's 14 and thus kind of in transition; in either case I cannot tell what his emotional reaction in this scene is supposed to be conveying to us the viewer. --V 20:16, 23 July 2007 (EDT)

Suicide

A note is on the page connecting Owakudani to suicide. I remember the comment in the script about the cliff Shinji is hanging out on, but has anyone seen statements external to NGE? --Reichu 15:25, 16 August 2007 (EDT)

Title

The Japanese title literally means, "rain, after (he) ran away / escaped". ADV revised their old translation ("Rain, Escape, & Afterwards") to "Rain, After Running Away" -- might as well use that. Also, I messed up with the romaji -- should be "go", not "ato". --Reichu 23:22, 15 August 2007 (EDT)
