Russia is one of the principle world powers in the post-Second Impact world. It is home to one of the members of the Human Instrumentality Committee, along with one of the Magi systems.
In Rebuild, they hold joint ownership with Europe over Bethany Base and Eva-05.
The NGE Nerv White Paper RPG has an original character who hails from the Russian branch of Nerv.
