This REALLY doesn't need a page of its own. And a good edit would make it ''significantly'' shorter. It should just go onto a page with plugsuits for "pilot equipment" or suchlike (Chronicle did this). --[[User:Reichu|Reichu]] 09:47, 1 January 2008 (PST)

::The only shot I have of someone holding the headset away from their head was of ''Rei'', but her gloved hand and her headset are both WHITE, so I tried to gray out Rei's hand. Problem is, I don't have hi-resolution image. The solution to this is 1 - if there's a clearer image of the tiara not being held by anyone, or at least, one of Shinji holding it (as his headset is white but his glove is blue), or we have option 2 - at least get a larger hi-resolution image, so when we gray out Rei's hand it will be easier to see. --[[User:V|V]] 19:56, 20 August 2007 (EDT)

Merge
This REALLY doesn't need a page of its own. And a good edit would make it significantly shorter. It should just go onto a page with plugsuits for "pilot equipment" or suchlike (Chronicle did this). --Reichu 09:47, 1 January 2008 (PST)
- Merging wouldn't be a problem but what would need to be removed?--V 15:55, 1 January 2008 (PST)
Misc
"Interface headset" should not be treated as a proper noun. Can we get an article rename here?
Reference to "Red Cross Book" (I need to ban that name in Conventions...) as some kind of end-all be-all NGE supplement goes bye-bye.
10 in A10 needs superscript. --Reichu 15:16, 17 August 2007 (EDT)
- You need to make a list of all terms like "Entry Plug" and stuff that should be proper nouns or not, then we'll fix them all at once. --V 15:37, 17 August 2007 (EDT)
- I think that the page title change is incorrect. All important words in page titles should be capitalized because they are titles. The capital H should really be brought back. --thewayneiac Feb. 15, 2011 19:44 PM EST.
Link with A10 Nerve
I believe this is pure conjecture. The article treats it as established fact. --Reichu 21:51, 17 August 2007 (EDT)
- Reichu is feeling somewhat ignored... --Reichu 12:24, 19 August 2007 (EDT)
- (cough) --Reichu 17:28, 27 August 2007 (EDT)
- It was in the Red Cross Book and stuff and the article explains the references. --V 17:30, 27 August 2007 (EDT)
- You assert a direction connection between the headset and the A10 Nerve to the point of using the headset's article as a dumping ground for A10 information. I want an actual citation that supports your assertion and subsequent decision.
- (Just FYI, the A10 Nerve is not even mentioned in the "Red Cross Book".) --Reichu 17:44, 27 August 2007 (EDT)
- It was in the Red Cross Book and stuff and the article explains the references. --V 17:30, 27 August 2007 (EDT)

- Regarding recent history: Ursus, as I mention here, the A10 nerve is not mentioned in the "Red Cross Book", and the movie pamphlet that DOES mention the nerve does not mention the interface headset. This is Vreckage, basically. --Reichu 10:38, 18 April 2009 (PDT)
- Before the stuff on the A10 Nerve is "lost in History", it might be worthwhile to move it to some section where the A10 nerve actually IS relevant. If there isn't an article that covers the whole Eva piloting spiel, there ought to be... Can't poke around the Abyss of Articles right this moment. --Reichu 17:23, 18 April 2009 (PDT)
Necessity
"an Interface Headset has always been worn each and every time someone has piloted an Eva (the sole exception being Shinji Ikari in Episode 26') and it would seem to be an absolutely required part of synchronizing with the Eva.": They are not used during the simulation plug test in 13. --Reichu 22:11, 17 August 2007 (EDT)
I added that part about Shinji not wearing it in EoE since it was lacking. I'll add the part about episode 13, as well. --Sailor Star Dust 22:18, 17 August 2007 (EDT)
- I should have drawn attention to the claim about the headset being "absolutely necessary". Judging from these two examples, it clearly isn't. --Reichu 22:21, 17 August 2007 (EDT)
Image
What the hell is that image at the bottom? Does someone have a higher quality closeup of the headset? --Ornette 14:04, 19 August 2007 (EDT)
- Yes, but I need to scan it. --Reichu 14:56, 19 August 2007 (EDT)
- The only shot I have of someone holding the headset away from their head was of Rei, but her gloved hand and her headset are both WHITE, so I tried to gray out Rei's hand. --V 19:56, 20 August 2007 (EDT)

crapnot high quality?? :( Is the current interface headset image the same pic I uploaded, just cropped (I don't see my name/file upload info anywhere)? --Sailor Star Dust 16:50, 27 August 2007 (EDT)- It's just that it was hard to see against the white background of Rei's white gloved hand so I tried to make it even clearer. --V 17:31, 27 August 2007 (EDT)
