The S2 engine is completely inactive.” MISATO:“Nevertheless,”	UrsusArctos: I understand bandaging the areas where the bindings were ripped out, but why bandage the head? dzzthink: It seems like Unit 1’s face was damaged during its fight with Zeruel or maybe when it went berserk. The horn and exterior components may actually just be a type of armour (similar to the samurai Do-maru) and the organic flesh underneath could have been significantly bruised. It’s scary to imagine that Unit one might actually have another face; especially one with that disturbing grin on it. UrsusArctos: Ah, you've forgotten the face reveal in Episode 02, and that was possibly even more disturbing for the rebirthing eye and lack of a proper mouth...
