UrsusArctos: Ireul's initial growth pattern here reminds me of the radio map of the Milky Way, complete with the North Polar Spur. It might be a coincidence, or it might be, like the rest of this episode, an oblique hint at the origins of the Angels.


dzzthink: The composition of Ireul is quite different compared to the organic angels we see in the series, and I suspect it might be made out of a highly coordinated system of nanobots, or some kind of hybrid of biological and computerised material. Frames 209 and 210 calls these things micro-machines.
