	145	TEXT:“Nozoku Takahashi” WOMAN:“of emergency in this district, emergency vehicle, passing through!” WOMAN:“Excuse me,”	UrsusArctos: The characters say Takahashi Nozoku ( 高橋 覗) which is a reference to Studio Ghibli Producer Nozomu Takahashi (Takahashi Nozomu 高橋 望), a friend of Anno's as mentioned in our Character Name Origins page. I don't know if there's an additional little in-joke in replacing "Nozomu" (to wish or hope) with "Nozoku" (to peek)? As an aside, it's interesting how many occupations in Japan include uniforms and white gloves! Pluto: This is what a typical political campaign vehicle looks like. During election time, these vehicles drive down the road blaring campaign slogans through megaphones. Yes, it is annoying. It was cool to see Hyuga repurpose this vehicle to give the emergency evacuation order.
