UrsusArctos: Being able to outrun Zeruel to the Eva cage strains the imagination less than being able to teleport from outside the city to a shelter within the Geofront. The most sensible thing, logistics-wise would have been for Zeruel to attack right after Cut 094 and have Misato drive Shinji all the way back into the Geofront in a complete rush. 2.0's timeline for Shinji's return makes much more sense, although Shinji still teleports past the Tenth Angel on the final leg.
