	145	TEXT:“Nozoku Takahashi” WOMAN:“of emergency in this district, emergency vehicle, passing through!” WOMAN:“Excuse me,”	UrsusArctos: The characters say Takahashi Nozoku ( 高橋 覗) which is a reference to Studio Ghibli Producer Nozomu Takahashi (Takahashi Nozomu 高橋 望), a friend of Anno's as mentioned in our Character Name Origins page. I don't know if there's an additional little in-joke in replacing "Nozomu" (to wish or hope) with "Nozoku" (to peek)? As an aside, it's interesting how many occupations in Japan include uniforms and white gloves!
