MPB

Bioengineering =/= metaphysical biology. Two different fields. Rollback. --Reichu 12:11, 17 August 2007 (EDT)

So only Fuyutsuki did that? I thought that Yui and Gendo at least had some passing familiarity with MPB. --V 12:23, 17 August 2007 (EDT)
If you can find me a source directly linking them to the field (beyond an association with "Fuyutsuki-sensei"), by all means... --Reichu 12:27, 17 August 2007 (EDT)

Outline

For my reference. OMF had a heart attack over this being on the article page. Whatever...

Rough notes to guide this article's expansion:

  • Yui wanted to become a green-eyed monster, hence why Gendo couldn't get her out
  • Elaborate somewhat on her mysterioso dialogue with Fuyutsuki, how Yui was possibly blacklisted... whatever was motivating her to do the CE in the first place
  • Yui's incomprehensible agenda (in brief - design all this to point to a conveniently- and intuitively-named T&A page)

--

  • Yui as a character (Saint Yui, our source of inspiration); some of her character relationships
  • The linkage between Yui and her Eva-incarnation

Cleanup

Commencing article cleanup, beginning with the Agenda section. Too much original research/speculation. --Ironfoot 00:21, 17 April 2009 (PDT)

I think you are probably being too strict. This isn't Wikipedia; original research and speculation are allowed here. See also Reichu's note above about how she wanted the article expanded. However, some of the stuff you deleted is probably better suited for a "Yui's Agenda" page, linked to from this page. In either case, someone will probably restore most of it, either here or on an "agenda" page. --thewayneiac 18:36 EDT. April 17, 2009
Wayne, regarding 'how I wanted the article expanded', are you talking about the 'rough outline' that's still lingering on this talk page? I'm more than fine with a Yui's Agenda/Motivations/Whatever' page; the issue is so convoluted and contentious it's an automatic candidate for T&A. I've talked to Ironfoot about trying to avoid using the Wikipedia term "original research" around here. --Reichu 20:38, 17 April 2009 (PDT)
EDIT: Looking at the revisions more closely, I'm not sure why the notes on Yui's character/personality traits were all flushed down the toilet. They could perhaps be tightened up, but I think it's silly to remove that kind of stuff from, well, a CHARACTER page... Also, the citations shouldn't just point to episode pages, but actually include the text of the quote(s) being referenced -- but perhaps you were going to tend to that. --Reichu 20:46, 17 April 2009 (PDT)
