RussianRiz: I just love this episode. From this sequence, we have what is basically a demonstration of what would be Instrumentality in End of Evangelion.
UrsusArctos: Indeed, even the soundtracks that follow are linked to Instrumentality - both the TV version and End of Evangelion. Although Episode 16 started the trend of psychologically analyzing characters, this is where things really get rolling.
