That's supposed to be a quote from Hermes Conrad, right? Yer link's wrong :P As for my name, it's a play on the word "incisive", which means sharp or keen, and it's often used to refer to writing. The "is" on the end is a reference to Transformer naming like "Cyclonus" and "Rodimus Prime". It did start out as the name of a Transformers fanchar, but now it's taken on a life of its own. Nor was I. But I'm almost alone on that: the fandom as a whole *loved* it. I disliked the movie because it focused too much on the humans (though I know the reasons why), and was generally loud and obnoxious with the TFs not having much personality. And "Sympathy for the Devil" is a rockin' song, though I associate it now with an AMV a friend made, which used the song as a tribute to the great villains of American and Japanese animation. Starscream had literally one line of dialogue, but they force me to sit through half an hour of PAINFUL dialogue from a moronic "special agent" character, while another Transformer's maximum screentime was devoted to a urination joke? Didn't they realize that if you make a film aimed at fans of a show that aired 10-20 years ago, don't insert humor for 5 year olds? And then, why fill it with so many masturbation/sex jokes? The whole thing was a fusion of Michael Bay (Director) and Steven Spielberg (producer)...and not in any wholesome SilverBolt way; dear god, I mean Spielberg's approach is to have "everyday kids from suburbia affected by great extraordinary adventures (this can work and even be mature if handled well), and Michael Bay's formula is to focus on military characters and experts: so what was their plan for this? shoehorn both narrative formats into each other and have both the suburban everyteenager character and military characters, resulting in not enough real development or screentime for EACH set of characters, while depriving time from the Transformers.....er, but I digress....(sorry the forums are down and I had nowhere to vent this; I just saw it Sunday and I still feel....dirty...btw, where do I find this AMV?--V 15:03, 24 August 2007 (ED

Szmitten, if it's any consolation, most fans really loved it, as I said. V and I are mostly alone on this. I'm not bitter, though. I just forget the movie and go back to the TF stuff I do like. It helps that I was never a big fan of the first two years of the TF cartoon (which this movie tried to replicate), but only liked the characters introduced in the '86 movie and afterwards, though I'm also a big fan of Beast Wars

Check out the movie ("for free" through the wonder of the internets). On the one-hand, it was not a direct, page-by-page adaptation of the graphic novel. Then again, a page-by-page adaptation would have been 6 hours long. Sort of like LOTR, I thought it a great adaptation and condensation of the comic. Naughty-fun-bits: V fighting police, V's Televised speech (having rewatched the movie something like 50+ times on DVD, I kind of intentionally talk like this now ^_^), At this point, all V needs to do is keep his word...and then--V 23:19, 24 August 2007 (EDT)

1. If you remove an extra link by removing the double brackets, i.e. [[Shinji Ikari]] to just "Shinji Ikari", you don't need to add "nowiki" tags around it. Simply removing the double brackets removes the links.

FYI, yes, drop what you're doing and marathon Avatar seasons 1 and 2; astonishingly one of the best series on ANY channel of the past 5 years; so much sharp dialogue, well rounded characters, innovative storytelling, and uber attention to continuity that it makes a grown man cry. --V 19:11, 7 October 2007 (PDT)

Oh, thank god, I thought you were talking about my spelling of "dialogue", which Firefox for some reason doesn't accept, but does "dialog". It's one of those godawful spelling shortening like "nite" that I hope never catches on. Sometimes I wish a bottomless pit of artistic mispellers did exist. :/

And yes, season 3 of Avatar started airing in Canada at the same time as yours (though now you're an episode before us). I'd caught the show off and on before, but season 3 made a full convert. Cool you're back

Thanks for coming back: you're a professional short story writer and all :) TV now stinks seeing as Canada is getting the second half of Avatar season 3 and we are not. Anyway, thanks for the new drive on the character articles: please go full steam on those, hold nothing back, just go wild. Kick-ass: you have fully mastered how to play around with image files on wiki format ("right" "250px" "thumb" etc in various combinations). That's great. Please keep this up I've noticed a great dearth of images and I'm a moron that doesn't know how to create screencaps. Btw, the blind date Hikari set up Asuka for was with a "College aged guy"? Really? I don't remember that episode (V goes to look for transcript)...er, when did they say that?
