My favourite character is also Shinji Ikari, out of a writer’s appreciation for his affecting characterization, though that mutates into fangirlish tendencies sometimes. But don’t mistake me for the kind of fangirl who likes to treat him as an innocent victim: I come to praise Shinji and to bury him. | |||
I also count Kaworu as the only other character I really like as opposed to just enjoying studying. But I'm not a shipper for the two, though I've got nothing against teh ghey or yaoi. Shipping them runs counter to how I read the two characters’ relationship. | |||

I have also, through no fault of my own, developed a minor obsession with pterosaurs, though that also extends to most things scaly. Some series/franchises of interest to me include Transformers (original and Beast Wars), Disney’s Gargoyles, Neil Gaiman’s Sandman series, assorted Gundam, Hellsing, Pet Shop of Horrors, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Saint Seiya, Digimon Tamers, and Invader Zim. | ||
