Nerv Department of Security Intelligence
The NERV Department of Security Intelligence is the subsection of NERV which contains the "Men in Black" agents who follow around Evangelion pilots and investigate security breaches. In Episode 4, they reacquire Shinji Ikari after he runs away for several days. They also confront Misato Katsuragi in Episode 21 when Kaji kidnaps Fuyutsuki, and also reacquire Asuka after she runs away in Episode 24.
