Ikari:“…” Ritsuko:“You went to the hospital this afternoon, didn't you?” Ikari:“She'll be ready to work again in twenty days.”	tv33: Something tells me he was there for another reason than to see how soon she could work. He could have sent anyone to ascertain that. HeWhoPostsStuff: I tend to think that Ritsuko is implying "While you were there, you DID stop to see your son, didn't you?" Which, of course, he had no intention of doing. OMF: Rewatching this scene, I was struck by how the dialogue, tones and silences here make it clear that this is something more than a purely professional conversation. There is an undertone of intimacy here rarely felt where Gendo is concerned.
