Dummy System

Dummy Plugs are artificial pilots for Evangelion Units, built around an altered Entry Plug model which is red instead of white. Containing the "personality" of either Rei Ayanami or Kaworu Nagisa (built around "blank" clones of each), the Dummy Plugs trick the Evangelions into thinking that a real pilot is actually synchronizing with it, thus allowing an Eva to be piloted remotely. Eventually, all regular Evas are fitted with backup Dummy Plug systems in addition to their normal pilot's Entry Plugs
