HeWhoPostsStuff: Methinks that the “quick glance” before that line suggests that Misato had suspicions as to why she had to bring Shinji toNerv, but didn't want to believe them (as I mentioned back in [episode-01A-scene4.html#cut148 148] )… Now, of course, she pretty much knows that her fears were true.
