HeWhoPostsStuff: Well, how sympathetic would you be, if you worked on this huge thing for who knows how many years beforehand inpreparation for this very moment, and then the vital guy needed to make your work worthwhile refuses to do it? Sort of like that one burnt bulb in a string of Christmas lights that makes the entire thing go out.


Reichu: Perhaps, like Incisivis said, it would've been nice of them to haven given Shinji a littleforewarning… But, then, if Shinji knew about this months or years in advance, thatwould kill most of the dramatic tension.
