Although the manga does not retell the battle scene of [[Gaghiel]] and [[Eva-02]], it does give a brief outline of the battle. The Angel simply "heals" itself by utilizing their 2 cores for instant regeneration. With both pilots stunned, the Angels quickly disabled the Evas by throwing them with their razor-sharp claws, ultimately humiliating Nerv and transferring control to the UN Military, temporarily stunning the Angels with an N2 Mine. Misato is threatened to be fired from Nerv if such a humiliating event took place again. She is warned that if it wasn't for Fuyutsuki's calm manner, Misato would've been fired on the spot. Meanwhile, Kaji gives Misato a tape, with some classical music on it. Volume 4 is the fourth edition of Yoshiyuki Sadamoto's manga adaptation of Neon Genesis Evangelion. It is comprised of 6 stages.

Overview
Volume 4 of Sadamoto's version of the Evangelion series retells the new arrival of Asuka Langley Soryu and a new Angel which can split into two, forcing Nerv to destroy the Angel by synchronizing two Evangelions with music battle patterns.
