Toji's sister

I forgot to mention in the General Eva-03 Talk (http://wiki.evageeks.org/Talk:Evangelion_Unit-03): At different parts of Toji's Scenario in the Eva2 PSP game he visits his sister in the hospital (voiced by Maya's seiyuu) although we never see her face.

And as mentioned here (http://wiki.evageeks.org/Eva-00%27s_soul#Supplemental_evidence), the Leliel sequence when the Evas burst out explicitly show the soul within each Eva (Eva-04 brought back from the Dirac Sea (Kaworu's the pilot) seems to be through Kaworu's own power. It's unknown if this means Eva-04 is soulless so Kaworu can "merge" with it as he implied in Episode 24 or something else). And the PSP version has additional content (more scenarios to play) to the original PS2 version, Anno did work on the game with the Events engine and was interviewed for the CI files... All of which should be taken into account when discussing Eva2: the Eva2 game includes additional background information for people who want to know the information, but everything that's "needed" to know is within the show itself. --Sailor Star Dust 18:07, 12 September 2011 (UTC)

Rebuild and souls

And then - why does Rebuild throw even more monkey wrenches into it if it's a basic Eva mechanic? Whose mother is in the Eva Mari casually disposes of in 2.0, or for that matter, why does Misato even have an option who to put into Unit-03? etc. --Gwern 16:31, 12 September 2011 (UTC)

Rebuild is its own continuity as well as not completed yet, so we need to wait and see what explanation is given for soul mechanics or lackthereof. --Sailor Star Dust 18:07, 12 September 2011 (UTC)
