Incisivis: The short sequence of EVA-01 charging was parodied in the Invader Zim episode "Hamstergeddon" (#9B) (see here and here). If the connection looks dubious (I know it did to me, at first), the audio commentary said it was an NGE ref, and this is the only time the series uses speed lines. No one specified which scene IZ parodied, but this episode #02 sequence seems the most likely.
