Mankind's Ultimate All-Purpose Humanoid Decisive Battle Weapons, the Evangelions are humanity's first and only line of defense against the Angels.

Evangelion Unit-01 Evangelion Unit-01 (NTE) 初号機	Shinji Ikari	Yui Ikari	A Test-Type Model. Eva-01 is the flagship mecha of the Evangelion saga. Prone to slipping out of the pilot's control, this Unit is central to Gendo Ikari's plans.
Evangelion Unit-02 Evangelion Unit-02 (NTE) 弐号機	Asuka Langley Soryu Asuka Shikinami Langley (NTE)	Kyoko Zeppelin Soryu	The first Production Model. Over the course of the New Theatrical Edition, the Eva goes though extensive refits.
Evangelion Unit-03 Evangelion Unit-03 (NTE) ３号機	Toji Suzuhara Asuka Shikinami Langley (NTE)	Toji's mother^[2]	Sent to Japan for testing after the Eva-04 incident, Eva-03 is taken over by the angel Bardiel upon its first activation.
Mass Production Evangelions 量産機	Dummy System^[3]	Unknown	Sortied by Seele against Eva-02, the Mass Production series is entirely automated and equipped with S² Engines for indefinite operation.
Evangelion Unit-04 ４号機	Unknown	Unknown	Eva-04 served as a test bed for the S² Engine before mysteriously exploding and taking all of Nerv Second Branch with it.
Failed Evangelion Prototypes	-	-	Nerv went through many failures in its effort to create Eva-00 and the rest of the Evangelion series. The grim results are on display in the depths of Terminal Dogma.
Simulation Bodies 模擬体	Shinji, Asuka, Rei	-	Seen during pilot testing in Episode 13. The bodies are taken over by the Angel Iruel.
Evangelion Unit-05 ５号機	Mari Makinami Illustrious	Unknown	A Provisional Unit. Eva-05 is outfitted with a considerably less sophisticated motor system than other Evangelions. It does however complete one successful sortie.
Evangelion Mark.06 ６号機	Kaworu Nagisa / Automated	Unknown	Constructed on the moon, Eva-06 halts Third Impact with the Spear of Cassius at the end of Evangelion 2.0, but later as an autonomous unit appears to be involved in starting it up again.
Evangelion Unit-08 8号機	Mari Makinami Illustrious	Unknown	One of Wille's Evangelions. With Mari aboard Eva-08 provides long support fire, and materiel delivery to Eva-02'.
Evangelion Mark.09	Rei Q / Automated	Unknown/Vessel of the Adams	Apparently more than just an Evangelion, Mark.09 is also the Vessel of the Adams. The unit is capable of taking punishment no ordinary Eva could survive.
Evangelion Mark.09A	Advanced Ayanami series / Automated	Unknown/Vessel of the Adams	Apparently rebuilt from the remains of Mark.09 to serve as its substitute/replacement. Merges with Eva-08 to form Eva-08+09+10+11+12.
Evangelion Mark.10	Advanced Ayanami series / Automated	Unknown/Vessel of the Adams	Merges with Eva-08 to form Eva-08+09+10+11+12.
Evangelion Mark.11	Advanced Ayanami series / Automated	Unknown/Vessel of the Adams	Merges with Eva-08 to form Eva-08+09+10+11+12.

Evangelion Unit-13 第13号機	Shinji Ikari & Kaworu Nagisa	Unknown	Nerv's latest creation, sporting a D-Type double entry plug system. Eva-13 is ostensibly designed to retrieve the spears of Longinus and Cassius, but Gendo appears to have made other plans.
Evangelion Mark.04	Automated	Unknown	Apparently connected to Eva-04, the Mk. 04A, Mk. 04B, and Mk. 04C series attack and impede Wille in a post Third Impact world.
"Arm Units"	Automated	Unknown	Apparently connected to Eva-04 and the Mk.04/Nemesis series. Consist of a pair of Evangelion arms connected to a pair of Eva fins in the approximate shape of the Hebrew letter Aleph, and engage both Eva-02 and Eva-08.
Evangelion Mark.07, "Opfer" type	Advanced Ayanami series / Automated	Unknown	Strange Evangelions with a skull-like facial appearance and unusual body structure. Eva-08 engages and destroys enormous numbers of them.
Mass Production Evangelions (NTE)	Probably Automated	Unknown	Shown in the preview at the end of 3.0. Not in 3.0+1.0.
Eva 08+02	Asuka & Mari?	?	Shown in the preview at the end of 3.0. Not in 3.0+1.0.
Eva-08+09+10+11+12	Mari	?	Formed by Mari fusing together Eva-08, Eva-09A, Eva-10, Eva-11 and Eva-12 at the end of Evangelion: 3.0 + 1.0.
Failures of Infinity インフィニティのなり損ないたち	-	?!?	A multitude of headless, red, petrified Eva-01 like statues are strewn throughout post Third Impact Tokyo-3. They reach out to the severed head of Lilith.
