Die Sterne, German for "the stars," is a Gainax artbook published by Kadokawa Shoten. It contains several Evangelion-related original works by Yoshiyuki Sadamoto and other artists. The majority of the art is done in the same style as the Evangelion anime, but some are water-colors, pencils, collages, and CG art. There is also a Die Sterne 2.0, released on June 2007, which contains all the art from the original as well as an additional 75 illustrations.
