I've minimized the template somewhat since circumstances have changed. (See my comment in History.)

Having pages with this template default to the category "Pages needing expansion" doesn't feel appropriate any more. People could be looking through that category for pages to expand, and one of the "pending" pages could be as complete and up-to-date as possible. I.e., incapable of being expanded at the present time, hence just wasting space in that category. Should they get their own category, maybe?

Also, I don't know if we want to do the "screenshot" treatment on this template, or just keep it minimalistic. I figure the latter may be best. --Reichu 20:23, 2 May 2009 (PDT)

"Pages needing updates" sounds like a good new category name. Better to create a new category than clutter the old one. I'm fine with the minimalistic treatment as well. --UrsusArctos 20:42, 2 May 2009 (PDT)
