Designation

I know "Evangelion Unit-06" was used in the preview from 1.XX, but they seem to have switched to "Mark.06" starting with the initial 2.0 publicity poster. I suppose it would be worth doing a full investigation of the movie and post-2.0-release official sources to see how we should treat the Eva's designation on the Wiki. That is, is "Mark.06" simply an alternate form for "Evangelion Unit-06 / Eva-06", or is it a full-out replacement? --Reichu 20:18, 12 February 2011 (UTC)

I've since noticed that "Rokugouki" is still used in the Q preview, so it looks like "Mark.06" isn't a full replacement after all. --Reichu 14:26, 28 February 2011 (UTC)
I have the impression that "Mark.06" was always meant to be the proper, English designation, and "Rokugoki" is simply for continuity with the Japanese designations for the other Evangelions. In any case, I wouldn't want to use the U-word until we hear them using it in English in Q.--UrsusArctos 16:54, 28 February 2011 (UTC)
Yessir, I agree with using "Mark.06" for the official English designation. (Dodgy punctuation aside. I've never seen a period used like that outside of "loljapan". Is there a precedent for the usage anywhere?) "Rokugouki" still belongs here as the official Japanese version, as opposed to MAAKU SHIKKUSU in katakana or something. --Reichu 19:11, 28 February 2011 (UTC)

Features

The article mentions that the internal power source is "motive energy". Wouldn't it make more sense to say that it has a power source similar to a S2 engine? --KnightmareX13 17:08, 17 August 2011 (UTC)

It says "internal source of motive energy". "Motive energy" (should technically be "motive power") just means "energy used to move something". It's appropriately vague. --Reichu 19:23, 17 August 2011 (UTC)
