Map question

A friend pointed out to me using Hakone via Google Maps as a point of reference: Shouldn't Tokyo-3's Junior high be on the other side of town? http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UTF&msa=0&msid=201235328847208398788.0004add01ba0b21409a35 Supposedly Misato's apartment would be close to Gora station and Ayanami's place would still be where it is on this Hakone-region map... But maybe this http://punynari.wordpress.com/2010/05/23/english-hakone-instrumentality-map/ (apparently based on NME/Rebuild, but points out several NGE locations as well) is a better reference?
