	286	RITSUKO (OFF):“have we copied from?” MISATO (MONO):“I know that the Evas aren't just copies of the First Angel.”	UrsusArctos: This line doesn't make sense if you think of the Evas as copies of Adam, the monster that knocked Earth's axis around and destroyed Antarctica with Second Impact - why wouldn'tany copies of such a monster be monstrous? However, when you know that Eva-01 was grown from Lilith and can serve as a substitute for her at Third Impact, a fact that Ritsuko knows perfectly well and Misato doesn't, Ritsuko's horrified reaction makes total sense. Ritsuko's appalled at what Lilith might be capable of when the time comes to use her and she isn't willing to play around. (A well-founded fear, as it turns out).
